This unit uses chemically- bound oxygen so it operates completely independent of the ambient air. It features a quick- start cartridge, which will supply the wearer with breathable air as soon as it is donned.
The cleverly designed hood equipped version gives the wearerÕs head eyes and face enhanced protection against heat and smoke while providing essential voice communication.
Easy to use it is also suitable for people who wear glasses or have facial hair.
The Drager Oxy K 30 HW/HS (hood version) unit is available in a number of formats- wall mounted and shoulder mounted versions, this enables these self- rescuer units to be installed in vehicles or positioned for fast emergency access on walls and escape routes.
One- step removal, assembly and opening all cleverly integrated to provide breathable air in an emergency as fast as possible.
These emergency units are ideally suited to work environments such as petrochemical industrial installations, tunnelling operations, sewage, shipping, railway or drilling platforms where there are ever- present risks of airborne contamination occurring with minimal warning.
This unit is guaranteed (when stored appropriately) for up to 10 years maintenance and service free.
