Being both easy to operate and calibrate it is perfectly suited to confined space entry situations.
Being modular in design, the EntryRAE monitor you will have the ultimate in protection from a broad range of toxic and VOC gases.
Most 4 gas monitors do not detect VOCs as found in fuel, oil, industrial cleaners, degreasers, solvents adhesives, pesticides and herbicides etc. Also you find that many sensors readings become degraded by the presence of common compounds such as Phosphates, Lead, Silicon and Sulphurous compounds.
This unit is highly durable with a rubber outer body casing that is weather resistant; it is reliable and self-cleaning. Equipped with a loud alarm, flashing red LEDs and a powerful pump, you can expect up to 16 hours continuous operation from the interchangeable Lithium ion battery. Also the cradle doubles up as an external battery charger.
Data logging is built in, as is a large display unit. It is rated as IP55 for protection against dust and low-pressure water ingress, its dimensions are 15cm x 8.3cm x 4.5cm and it weighs 567g with battery and clip.
