The C.Scope CXL2 is a digital Cable Avoidance Tool that is loaded with new features which enable operators to find more buried utilities by delivering improved levels of performance and helping to reduce the effects of human error.
The CXL2 has a number of features designed to help reduce the risk of cable strikes, such as a built-in Automatic Daily Self Test, which checks the locator is working to its optimum before use at the start of each day of use. This protects the operator from unknowingly using a faulty safety product. These developments from C.Scope ensure that the CXL2 is fully functional BEFORE USE each day - rather than having to rely on manual function checking.

FAMILIAR OPERATING TECHNIQUE & METHOD
The CXL2 Cable Avoidance Tool has four familiar detection modes (POWER, RADIO, GENERATOR AND ALLSCAN) to select from. Each mode provides its own specific advantages. Many operators will be familiar with these operating modes from using traditional Cable Avoidance Tools and Generators.
IMPROVED PERFORMANCE
The CXL2 Cable Avoidance Tool delivers improved signal detection sensitivity and better noise rejection so it is capable of detecting the smallest of signals even in areas of high service density and electrical noise. The addition of the new simultaneous dual 33+131kHz frequency will assist in the detection of smaller buried pipes and cables such as telecoms, sheathed fibre optics and street lighting spurs.
SAFER WORKING PRACTICES
The new CXL2 offers a significant step forward in the quest to reduce the day-to-day risk of cable strikes.
MAINTENANCE & CALIBRATION
C.Scope's new CXL2 performs an Automatic Daily Self Test (ADST). If attention is required the ADST will alert the user to please contact an authorised C.Scope Service centre for assistance.
