The system provides a fast and accurate means of testing oral fluid samples for drugs of abuse, such as amphetamines, designer amphetamines, opiates, cocaine and metabolites, benzodiazepines and cannabinoids, as well as precise diagnostic evaluation and data management.

The reliable and easy to operate Dräger DrugTest 5000 Analyzer is a mobile opto-electronic system for on-site qualitative measurements of drugs of abuse in oral fluid samples collected with Dräger DrugTest Kits. Featuring a simple three-key operation and an illuminated color display, users can choose to view menus in one of five languages. The integral data memory is capable of storing up to 500 individual measurements.

The analyzer can also be easily linked to a wide variety of data recording devices such as a PC, printer or barcode scanner.

This non-invasive test system avoids embarrassment and eliminates any possible misinterpretation of results. The Test Kits, which are designed for easy handling and immediate use, consist of one test cassette complete with oral fluid collector. Tests are carried out in five simple steps, thus minimizing the risk of operator errors. It is hygienic to use because it inhibits contact with the sample and its components.
